OK..about time I did a jig update. Figured now was as good a time as any to test out how easy my new update software was to use. Not counting the actual transcriptions and tune choices, it only took me 5 minutes to update the database with these tunes typing in the names manually. Before, it would easily take me 45 minutes to look at each one, checking for non-standard whistle keys, variant names, etc. I guess I've done a good job making better tools!

Just got a new Sony MZ-N10 minidisc recorder, and thought I'd record a couple of tunes to put it through it's paces. I've uploaded Otter's Holt and a new Dan O'Keefe's slide to the archives. Enjoy!

Since I was off for Christmas, I made a program that will make it even easier to make batch updates. Today is my first experiment with it. Let's hope it works! If it does, I'll have even less excuses for untimely updates!
