Well, if you've been to the website in the last 10 days or so, you've noticed that I had a barebones mirror up. Unfortunately, my ISP was having problems with their DSL service, and it took them a while to get it resolved. In any case, we're back now. In addition to messing with making the mirror and all that, I've started re-recording some of the older tunes. Many of them were recorded back when I was less comfortable with ornamentation. These recordings are for both high and low whistle
Re-recorded The Four Marys, Auld Lang Syne, and the Brown Colleen.
Also, transcribed O'Carolan's Welcome in B minor (It's normally in A-minor, which is not a very whistle-friendly key). Hopefully, I'll have a few more songs for you Friday!

It's Jigs O' Plenty! Five new jigs for your enjoyment: The Hag With the Money, The Lark in the Morning, The Legacy Jig, Paddy Clancy's Jig, and Tripping Up the Stairs.
I've also recorded Ger the Rigger on my Herbison Laughing Whistle (what an infectious little tune!), and Eanach Dhuin on the Chieftain low D.
As usual, I've gone through the site, looking for grammatical errors, mis-labeled songs, and the like. Most of the stuff I found was in the What's New database..maybe I should take more care when I write these things?
And lastly, I'm sure eveyrone has already noticed that I finally got the Song By Name filtering/sorting done (where did I find all this free time!?). I default to filtering on the letter A so the page will load much more quickly, as we now have so many songs. It's quicker to do it this way and then let you click on the first letter of the song than it is to let the entire table full of songs load, because browsers won't show you thee until the table is complete. However, for those folks who still want to see the entire song list at one glance, I provide a link for that.
I want to try to get in a full complement of songs the first three Friday's in February, and then take it easy the last two weeks of February. I'm going to try to go to the North Texas Irish Festival at the beginning of March, and I want to get in some practice time. That means that I'll have less time for notating music, unfortunately, as I just don’t have the free time that I used to.

Friday's here, and so are some more songs, as promised!
Added Ger the Rigger, The Kesh Jig, and The Tar Road to Sligo (our 200th song!)

Well, it's still technically Weds for 2 minutes, but by the time my updates all upload it'll be Thursday. Here's my mid-week update…3 songs. I'll try to have more Friday. It's just been a really busy week folks, and for that I apologize.
These songs were added: Planxty Browne, Planxty Connor, and Eanach Dhuin.
