Update time!

First a neat story. Remember last month, where I mentioned that only two folks had ever donated to me via paypal? Now that I live in Dallas, a local band, F Troupe, has invited me to play with them. Tom, their other whistler, was one of the folks who donated. It's a small world indeed! Thanks again Tom!

Also, I have a roommate who is taking up guitar, and she needs the chords to the music. Likewise, for tunes I know and F Troupe doesn't, they'd like the chords as well. So...since I'm adding chords to my printouts anyway, I've started adding them to the music here. Whenever you see a tune listed in the "corrections" category, note that it either had some mistakes in transcription, or I changed it slightly to better suit the way I learned it in session. Also, it may have chords added, and certainly has that embedded watermark (see What's New 2-7-04) removed. Whew!

Misc: Streets of Cairo (you know, that tune you learned as a kid that goes "there's a place in France..."). This was once an actual song known as "Poor Little Country Maid", and not a kids song.
